Surf: Jici is the sandiest beach in rocky Hualien, with average, often sloppy peaks in the southern corner. May pick up some power in a SE swell, but readily closes out. Environment: Serviced by Hualuan Surf shop and there's a school for beginners. Pay to go on the beach in summer.
