Surf: The village of Barra do Una is close to the quiet beach of Juréia, a short bay with waves off either headland, particularly the left in E swells and NE wind is almost offshore. In SE-S swells, Barra can have some nice long lefts too up by the rivermouth. Environment: Avoid the rocks at Juréia and the rips at Barra.
