The most popular beachbreak in town is La Aguada, which faces due east, picks up plenty of swell and handles some size, so it is where most contests are held. Short fast, often hollow peelers spread the crowd. Shuts down hard as it gets overhead and currents will swirl. If the wind goes N, try back across town at La Balconada.
