More about Lighthouse surfspot
General: Kingston's homebreak, Lighthouse is a shallow reef that produces a short, hollow, sucking right and a long, fickle left. The right barrel is one of the best on the island when it's on and the left does a pretty good Zoo impersonation with swell from just the right angle. Tides: Any depending on size Size: Chest high to 3' overhead Wind: N, NNW Swell: E, ESE Bottom: reef Paddling: Easy overall but can get challenging on hurricane swells. Spot Rating: One of the better spots on the island, nearby is the Jamnesia surf camp. It's a bit out there and a spot more suited for experienced surfers.
