Overview
Marakha is a sand and sandstone beachbreak with clean waves that break opposite the Hilton. It sits on a long resort-lined stretch: between here and Side Krier, more than 30 access roads run down to large hotel complexes fronted by Mediterranean-blue beachbreaks, though many of those neighboring peaks close out.
When It Works
The break draws swell from west through north (W-N), with northwest swell the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, breaking over sand for a mix of lefts and rights.
Wind and Tide
Look for southeast offshore wind to clean it up. Marakha can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
