Surf: Check the ivory strands at Marieta, a half hour boat ride from Salinas in summer NE swells. Offshore sandbars can block the swells but NE should slide down the long righthander-friendly beach. Environment: Completely pristine beach and many tourists travel to the other side of the island/peninsula to see the endless sands of Praia de Tucundeua.
