Molo is a sand-bottomed beachbreak just west of the marina harbour, throwing up both left and right peaks. It is a friendly, beginner-level spot with decent water quality and a lineup that rarely gets busy.
When It Works
The break draws swell from east through south to southwest (E-S-SW), and it favours east and southeast pulses, with southeast (SE) the best match. Southwest swells can also sneak in and deliver on their day. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, so aim for that window when the forecast lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest (NW) offshore wind to clean things up, though the peaks stay surfable through moderate onshore winds too. The beach breaks across low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
With gentle, forgiving peaks, Molo suits beginners well, and you can usually count on an uncrowded lineup when it turns on.
