Overview
San Remo - Tre Ponti is a consistent, powerful beachbreak that breaks over sand, with both lefts and rights on offer. Several other peaks run along the same bay, and the water is clean.
When It Works
It's very consistent and picks up swell from southeast through south to west (SE-S-W), coming into its own on a southeast swell. The bank is usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, though it tends to close out toward the bigger end.
Wind and Tide
Look for north offshore wind, though the beachbreak stays surfable even in moderate onshore. It breaks across low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This is an approachable, beginner-friendly beachbreak. Expect a busy lineup when it's working.
Access
