No Man’s is a surf spot located about 300 meters right of Lakey Peak. It’s a section of reef that can be hit or miss, often depending on the swell. This spot generally has a bit of a shutdown feel but can offer a ride when the conditions align. It’s a pretty straightforward place, so not much fuss here if you just want to catch a few waves.
This spot works best on swells coming from the South or SouthWest, with optimal swell direction being SouthWest. It can handle swell sizes up to about 2 feet (roughly 0.6 meters), which means you’ll be looking at some small and somewhat lumpy waves. The wave type is mainly reef, breaking left over an uneven reef. If you’re planning to surf here, mid to high tide is preferable. Just keep in mind that this spot is better suited for expert surfers due to its nature.
When it comes to wind, East is the preferred direction for a cleaner wave. It’s a good idea to check the tides and swell forecasts before heading out, as the quality of the waves can really depend on those factors. Overall, No Man’s can be a decent place to surf if you catch it right, but don’t expect it to blow your mind.
