Non Nuoc surf guide

Non Nuoc is a surf spot located near Da Nang, Vietnam. It usually picks up a bit more northeast swell than its neighboring beach, My Khe. The vibe here is pretty laid back, and it’s not as crowded, especially when the winds are right. It can get rippy during typhoon swells, and most of the time you'll find the line-up empty.

This spot works best with east swells and is also responsive to north and east swells. Non Nuoc handles swell sizes starting from about 1ft (0.3 meters) and primarily breaks over sand, making it quite friendly for surfers. You can find both left and right waves here so there’s something for everyone. The prime wind direction is from the west, and the best tide heights are low, mid, or high, which means you have flexibility as the water changes throughout the day. It’s particularly suitable for beginners, so if you’re just getting into surfing, this might be a good spot to practice.

Keep in mind that the spot is better when it's not too big, but it can still offer some fun sessions when conditions align. It’s a good idea to check the swell forecasts before heading out, as the riptides can be strong during storm swells.
