Northeast Walkers is a surf spot that you can only reach by boat. It’s located not too far from Frenzies, so when you're out there, keep an eye out for any passing boats. The spot tends to attract surfers looking for a mellow session, especially if you’re up for a bit of adventure getting there.
The waves at Northeast Walkers are mainly a left-breaking reef setup, which suits intermediate surfers well. You’ll typically find that the optimal swell direction comes from the North, but it can also manage Northwest and Northeast swells. It can handle swells around 2 ft (approximately 0.6 meters) quite comfortably. The best time to surf here is during mid to high tide, and the preferred wind direction is from the South. Keep in mind that while the N swell is generally manageable, the S winds might make the conditions trickier.
Since it’s a reef break, make sure you're aware of the live coral beneath the surface when you paddle out. This spot can be a fun experience, especially when the conditions align. Just remember, it’s more suited for surfers with some experience under their belt.
