Pernambuco surf guide
Surf: Heading NE, Pernambuco is a well regarded beachbreak that is consistent, hollow and you guessed it – crowded! One of the few spots that handles a bit of S wind, but needs E in the swell to break. Hollow peak with rights rolling into the northern corner. If the swell is S and not getting in, go back to Enseada, the longest beach on the island and pick a less crowded rolling peak in the middle or something faster and hollower down the western corner by the rocks.
Environment: Not for beginners and even intermediates will struggle to get a wave off the local rippers.
