Piscinas surf guide

Piscinas is a surf spot located along the stunning Costa Verde, just south of Marina di Arbus. It's known for its beautiful surroundings and relatively uncrowded beaches. The open beachbreaks here are a great option for surfers looking to ride some fun waves without the crowds that can be found at more popular spots. The scenery is pretty pristine, making it a nice place to spend the day in the water.

The surf at Piscinas is suitable for all levels, particularly beginners. The optimal swell direction is from the Southwest, but you can catch waves coming from the South or North as well. The beach can handle swell sizes starting from about 2 feet (0.6 meters) and breaks over sand, which is ideal for learning and progression. You’ll find both left and right-hand waves here, and it works best with low to mid tide but can still be surfed during high tide. On days when the wind is coming from the east, you're likely to enjoy the best conditions.

When you're in the area, it's a good idea to check out Piscinas, especially if the Capo Mannu area is flat. The variety of peaks allows for some fun sessions, and it’s a chill spot to get your surf fix.
