Surf: Pointe Indienne looks promising, but it’s an ill-defined left point, where swells don't quite wrap in because shallow outside sandbanks dissipate wave energy. Access from Plage de la Pointe Indienne is difficult and the line-up is fully exposed to the onshore wind with no action in the lee of the point. Bear in mind there are rumoured to be some quality lefts to the north towards Kouilou rivermouth on the way to Gabon.
