Surf: When swell is in short supply, a longer trip to Ral is the call, since it sits in splendid isolation, open to all swell directions including NE and will have something to ride when all else is flat. Easy, fun and mushy when small, the rights on the western fringe of reef can be peaky or lined-up runners, depending on swell direction, which helps spread out the crowd on small days.
