Surf: The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park offers 5kms (3mi) of beachbreaks in wonderful scenery without crowds. If there are N quadrant winds, A-frames will huff and puff along it’s length, but the real action is at the Sigatoka Rivermouth, where long, zippy lefts and shorter rights spin back into the river flow. Environment: Downsides are strong SE winds, strong rips and currents, murky water and sharks. Upsides are all abilities waves, friendly locals like Paul, low crowds and no coral heads lurking below!
