Coming from the Carrarang Peninsula, an adventurous 4WD track leads to Steep Point, the most westerly point of the mainland. It’s a spooky spot that requires large SW - W swell to turn on, creating a serious left with powerful, long tubes, peeling over a shallow, sharp reef. Nasty suck out at the take-off.
