Blue Holes surf guide
Surf: Kalbarri has become a popular holiday resort, located at the mouth of the Murchinson River. On small to moderate swells and occasional NE winds, Blue Holes will produce nice rights and the odd left on a reef ledge just south of town. Peaky and sucky, it's no where near as intimidating as Jakes, but can still pack a punch. South in the swell, E in the wind and not high tide.
Environment: If it's firing, the locals will be on it and won't take kindly to any bad behaviour. Go slow or head back up around or past the rivermouth for occasional beach/reef peaks.
