W-NW swell magnet, sand and boulder reef, breaking left plus the occasional right. Numerous other spots heading south to Bore, dependant on swell direction and sand formation. Foglingane was an '80s hotspot before storms destroyed the righthand set-up. Older locals wait in hope for its return. Predominantly a left, that sometimes breaks to the right. This spot is usually bigger than most other spots on the 'North Shore' of Jæren, if there i a west or north-west swell on. Between Steinen and Bore (approx. 300 m) there are numerous other spots that works under different swell conditions and dependent on the build up of sand. Right before the Bore beach is Foglingane, some small rocks/small islands just off the beach. In the eighties up until early nineties this used to be on of the prime surf spots. However, storms in the early nineties changed the whole set-up, dug out major chunks of the beach and sand-dunes and da local silvabacks are looking forward to the day when this consistant right starts working again.

Bore Strand Camping is only a few minutes away.
