Bahia Tortuga surf guide

Surf: Puerto Ayora is the centre of activity on busy Santa Cruz Island. A rare arc of sandy beachbreaks can be had at Bahia Tortuga, a 3km walk from town. Wont take too much swell and is often onshore, but some fun corners can be found and it's the ideal learners spot. Directions: 45 min walk from town Environment: Take food and water and pack your trash at this once pristine spot. Back in town there's a sketchy, rocky right at Playa de la Estacion in front of the Darwin Research Station.
