Puerto Ayora is the centre of activity on busy Santa Cruz Island. A rare arc of sandy beachbreaks can be had at Bahia Tortuga, a 3km walk from town. Wont take too much swell and is often onshore, but some fun corners can be found and it's the ideal learners spot.
