The surf at Brasiliene primarily breaks left over boulders, providing a fun ride for experienced surfers. The ideal conditions are when the swell comes from the southeast, but it can also handle east and south swells. The waves can range from 1ft (0.3m) to a solid 6ft (2m) depending on the conditions. Morning offshores from the north create nice waves, with a period of about 5-7 seconds.
