Surf: Beachbreak peaks with full exposure to W swells, has a wave when everywhere else is flat. Consistent right bank at the south end. Punishing paddle-outs, closes out when overhead and gets dangerously rippy. Access: Difficult access to due farmland/golf course. check with locals. Environment: Access is by permission, don’t go blundering across private land-, electric fences and irate farmers abound. The golf club is applying for some coastal defence work; the ISA and WCSC are monitoring the situation.
