Surf: On the NE coast of Mauritius is the town of Grand Gaube; the barrier reef offshore has a couple of righthanders during the off-season, notably the right in front of Ile Bernache, fun and juicy when it breaks, which isn’t very often. There is a kitesurfing/surf school nearby. Environment: There will be a light crowd when it does break.
