Surf: Around the rocky southern point from El Amir, La Virgen is a challenging left reef/point set-up with rumbling walls and barrels on the drop. Holds some size and the tricky access through a jumble of urchin dusted rocks, currents and vertical drops make this an experts only wave. Environment: Less consistent than the beaches to the north, so the crowds come when it is firing. In front of the Virgen Mary statue.
