Left Point surf guide

Left Point is located about 10km north of Lhok Kruet, near Keudeunga. It's a spot known for its long left-hand waves that break in a deep bay. The point faces to the west-northwest and works best with southeast winds, making it a decent choice when the conditions align. It’s not the most famous surf spot, but it has its charm and can offer some fun sessions.

The waves at Left Point generally prefer a south or southwest swell direction and can handle sizes of around 2ft (0.6m) and above. You’ll find a mix of wave types here, including point breaks, that mainly roll to the left. The seabed consists of uneven reef and some sandy areas. The best results happen on low to mid tide, but it can also work when the tide is high. This makes it suitable for intermediate surfers looking for a bit of a challenge without getting too overwhelmed.

When you’re planning your surf, aim for a southeast wind for the cleanest conditions. As the spot is not overly crowded, you might enjoy a nice session with plenty of space. Just keep an eye on the waves and enjoy your ride!
