Surf: Two spots here: The rocky right point is called Palm Point; it works with any W swell up to a foot or two overhead, but it’s best with SW swells and low tide, when the wave lines up better. The Jetty is a popular peak best with higher tides and small to medium-sized SW swells. Both breaks get crowded quickly. Environment: Access is off Western Avenue and Paseo del Mar; mostly pay to park, but limited free parking on the bluff.
