Surf: Swell magnet beachbreak, thanks to deep offshore bathymetry and shelving beach. Powerful, hollow peaks when the winds right. The peak by the rivermouth is popular with bodyboarders. Not so good when it’s onshore. Environment: Parking in Portballintrae, walk from there, very crowded in summer.
