Sabang Beach surf guide
Surf: Baler sits on the south end of a 10km (6mi) long crescent beach where a rocky peninsula runs into the sea. In many places, the beach shelves a little to steeply so waves tend to close out quickly. Located on this long stretch of gray sand beach are several resorts like Angara's Beach House, Bay's Inn Resort or MIA Surf and Sports. The most popular surf spot Sabang Beach is found right in front of Bay's Inn, where beginners brave the soft beachbreak and regular surfers practice in the dumpier waves. It would be a decent longboard spot, but most of the locals have beat-up shortboards.
