Tiger Tracks Rights is a righthander located on the other side of a sandy bay. It's mainly known for being a fun and forgiving wave, making it a solid choice for surfers looking to practice their turns. The spot attracts a lot of regular footers, especially those from the nearby G-Land camp, which is about a 20-minute drive away. While it has its moments, don't expect it to be a world-class destination. It sees medium swells up to a little overhead, making it accessible for a variety of skill levels.
The wave works best with a SouthWest swell direction and can handle sizes starting from 2ft (about 0.6 meters) and up. The right wave breaks over DeadCoral, providing a nice canvas for intermediate surfers to carve some turns. The ideal conditions usually come with an East wind, and you'll find the best rides about two hours on either side of high tide. There's also a shorter left off the peak that you might want to check out, but generally, the quality of the right is what brings people here.
While the crowds are usually not too heavy, you'll find a few local kids around who are pretty chill. It's a good spot to relax and enjoy some time in the water without feeling overwhelmed by other surfers. Just remember, this wave is better suited for intermediate surfers, so itβs a great place to build your skills.
