Todos Santos - La Pastora is a small surf spot located in the village of Todos Santos, which isn’t to be confused with the famous island break. This area features miles of average beach breaks and is known for a section north near the windmills that draws in crowds and swell. La Pastora can handle swells from both the Northwest and the South, making it a versatile spot throughout the year.
The surf here can get pretty interesting with big rights on winter swells and peaky waves during the summer South swells. The waves break over uneven reef and sand, with both left and right options available. You can expect this spot to work well with swell sizes starting around 2 feet (0.6 meters). It’s a good location for beginners, especially since it accommodates different tide heights—low, mid, or high. For the best conditions, aim for Northeast winds.
While surfing La Pastora, keep an eye out for barnacles on the rocks. If you're looking for other options nearby, Punta de Lobos offers an easy left with South swells, and you can find some scattered reef breaks as well as a left point around Palm Beach and San Pedrito. It's good to explore if you're looking for something different.
