Surf: Around George are a couple of quality breaks like Victoria Bay, a popular right pointbreak zipping over the rocky headland beneath steep cliffs in a pocket bay. Beautiful vertical walls for jamming off and plenty of power. Handles a light onshore but any N wind and moderate S-SW swell is ideal. Doesn't like SW wind and too much swell. Environment: Anywhere this pretty will always attract a crowd, especially in summer. Take-off is concentrated on a rock so lots of waiting for your turn.
