Yarada surf guide

Yarada is a long beach situated down at Dolphin Nose lookout. It offers a decent spot for surfers, especially those who are just starting out. The vibe is laid-back, making it a nice place to catch some waves with friends or to work on your skills.

The surf here can be punchy, particularly on mid to high tide. The best swell direction is SouthEast, but it can also take NorthEast and SouthWest swells. It works well with swell sizes starting from about 1 ft (0.3 m) and breaks over sand, which is generally friendly for beginners. Waves typically roll in both left and right directions, and if the wind is coming from the Northwest, that’s ideal.

Keep in mind there are scattered rocks further out on the point, so it’s good to be aware of your surroundings while you're in the water. Overall, Yarada can be a fun spot, especially for less experienced surfers looking to enjoy some beach breaks.
