8th Ave. South surf guide
Surf: General: Nondescript beachbreak south of the Jax Pier pressure cooker, 8th Avenue South is probably just as consistent as any other beachbreak around here β consistently so-so. It will, however, accommodate a range of swells and tides, particularly N/NE swells on incoming, but isn't known for handling anything more than a foot or two overhead. Itβs divinely spread out, though, with no rhyme or reason to its peaks. Many nor'easter drift sessions end up right around here.
