Surf: Ahipara is home to Shippies and 7 endless peeling lefts. Furthest west and more wind exposed, Blue House is steep, fast and hollow, working well at higher tides. More offshore in SE than the rest. Directions: 4wd beach access also or park in Ahipara andwalk round rocks Environment: Experts only since it is so far out and a real trek around the point to reach. 4WD at low, but many get stuck so beware.
