Surf: Peaks is a tricky paddle-out between the rocky outcrops and holds full-speed wailing walls, hollow pockets and tricky sections for experienced surfers to try and make it the full kilometre back to the beach. The take-off is a sucky launch into the barrel, so less-experienced surfers should ride the sweep down to the many other entry points. Environment: One of the longest single section points in NZ.
