Surf: Powerful righthand reefbreak. Limited swell exposure, therefore needs a big NW swell to work. Gets going at headhigh, closes out at double that. Best at high tide. Environment: Crowded when on. Strong rips. Situated just to the east of Gijon city centre. Parking can be difficult. No actual beach facilities here, although quite near to San Lorenzo beach and to the shops and bars of Gijon. Residential and stormwater pollution.
