Four Bobs is a surf spot located a short paddle from the Kandui resort. This spot is known for its warm up rights, which are ideal for less experienced surfers looking for some fun waves. You can find it across the channel from Karangbat. The atmosphere here is laid-back, making it a nice place to catch some waves without too much crowd pressure.

The best conditions at Four Bobs occur when the swell is coming from the south or southwest, handling swell sizes starting from about 2 feet (0.6 meters) and going up. The waves break over live coral, offering a fun right-hander to ride. The take-off zone is located behind the peak where you can score a good wall for a whack. After that, there’s a cutback section before the wave tapers off into some deeper water. It’s good to keep in mind that low, mid, and high tides all work well here, but west winds are preferable to create the best surfing conditions.

Four Bobs works great for beginners since the waves are generally manageable and fun. Just be cautious of the stunning but shallow coral heads, especially as you get closer to the inside of the break. It’s a spot that often turns out to be more enjoyable than it might look at first glance!
