Surf: Around the derelict pylons on Humewood Beach is a righthand sandbank that can deliver thick, throaty tubes for the hordes of bodyboarders and stand-ups good enough to make the vertical drop. Needs small to medium SE swell and SW winds to be primo, but SW wraps in if big enough. Environment: Can be hassles from the lifeguards and local fly-boys.
