Surf: Kvalvika's stunning bay requires a solid hike to get to some average peelers that often close-out. Often ugly waves in a beautiful setting. Further down the island of Moskenesøy are two NW sandy bays at Horseid and Bunes. Environment: Two surfers built a driftwood hut here and lived in it for a winter while cleaning the beach of trash, as shown in the film North of the Sun.
