Surf: Pontal is an open, exposed beach that will set-up some nice sucky peaks in a SE-S swell at lower incoming tides. The river affects the sandbanks and since you can only get here by boat, it is rarely crowded, with room to move for competent surfers. Environment: Good SUPing in the river.
