Tiririca surf guide
Surf: Tiririca is the main spot in Itacaré, thanks to regular barreling waves unloading on banks at the north, central and southern end of this short beach. Any size swell, hopefully from the E-SE will light up the lefts and there is no shortage of locals and blow-ins to shred every swell. Beginners should head to Ribeira at high, leaving the hollower waves of Costa and Resende for the better surfers.
Environment: Out of Itacaré’s 12 beaches, Tiririca is only 10 minutes walk from downtown, with a reputation for strongly disputed beachbreak at the year-round, regular venue for regional and state championships. The neighbouring beaches like Ribeira, Costa and Resende just don't compare in the consistency or quality stakes.
