Surf: At the southern side of the Harbour, Raglan Bar is a changeable set of sandbanks with some fast hollow peaks. Directions: In Raglan you will enter on Main Road, which then turns into Bow Street. Continue to the first roundabout and turn left onto Bankart Street, then turn left at the next roundabout onto Wainui Road. Continue on Wainui Road a little then turn right onto Riria Kereopa memorial Drive. Find a park at the end of the road and walk out onto the beach at the river mouth. Environment: More crazy currents and hordes of kiteboarders on the windier days. Surf crowd is usually fairly low.
