Sandbar NSW surf guide

Surf: Gold standard beachbreaks with form and function on pretty much every swell direction and any N winds. Wedgie peaks in a SE or left runners in a NE, it's usually best just below Dangar Point. If the sandbar is opened to Smiths Lake then sandbanks and channels will form down the beach. Environment: Scores an 8 for consistency and when it's firing it often crowded, especially on weekends. The camping and caravan parks are in the bush behind and on the lake.
