More about The Wall surfspot

New Hampshire’s most consistent spot, works on all tides and swells. Best around mid tide in a due W wind, it’ll handle a bigger swell and usually keeps good shape. South of here there may be some waves breaking over various boulder reefs, but they are fickle, have difficult access, and require some local knowledge to score them when they’re on. Best left to the locals.

Free in winter only

This summertime designated surfing beach always attracts a hefty crowd. Plenty of roadside meters and full facilities at the northern end.
