Surf: Breakas can be described as a tube orgy when it is on, but the barrelling lefts need high tide and no trades. Sucky at the peak before shouldering off and there are some rights as well, especially if the swell has a bit of W in it. Wind is a problem and glassy days are rare so be prepared to wake up before dawn and get there for the two to three hours of daylight before the trades pick up. Environment: Locals surf here and have set up Pango Beach surf shop in the village. In front of the Breakas Resort where visiting surfers stay so may have a moderate crowd to match the medium consistency.
