Surf: Consistent peaks, difficult to find, but the roads west of Ajaccio lead to many waves. Open to all W swell, there is plenty of power and size, so not the place to be when it is big or windy. Often hollow, the rights are usually best on the NW swell angle. Look around Parata Point for some swell exposed points/reefs. Access: 1/2h from Ajaccio Environment: Crowds should be low despite being only half an hour from town. Beware of rips and the ever-present Med jellyfish.
