Doc Browns surf guide
Surf: A fickle left hand pointbreak that is generally half the size of open beaches in the area. It’s only surfable around high tide and needs to be at least chest-high to be clear of the rocks. Workable open faces, which aren’t steep or critical, providing a perfect longboard forum.
Environment: Sometimes crowded at this small cove spot, particularly if there is a summer hurricane swell. Locals are protective because it doesn’t break often. Limited roadside parking with no facilities. Mild pollution possibilities from the stream outlet and estuary water from Portland Harbor.
