Scarborough Beach surf guide
Surf: Situated inside the Scarborough Beach State Park, this pristine, sandy, southwest-facing stretch of beach can provide some good peaky waves. Optimum conditions are very similar to Higgins, but Scarborough will still break at high tide on larger swells.
Access: Free in winter only
Environment: Less crowded than Higgins because the peaks are more spread out; plus, it costs money to get through the gates to go surfing.
