Pine Point surf guide

Surf: A crescent beach leads around to a rivermouth sandspit where the Scarborough River flows into Saco Bay. Here you’ll find average, all tides beachbreaks; however, in certain conditions, an extremely long lefthander can run down the western side of the sandspit. Low tide only, a SE swell between 4 – 6ft, along with any northerly winds should make for some long, fun, point-style waves without the rocks. Access: Free in winter only Environment: Medium to low consistency means you’ll be lucky to ever see it work, but if it does, you’ll probably be on your own. Free roadside parking in winter and pay car parks in summer.
